I'm ScoobySnax and this is my tumblr. I've been playing The Sims since it's birth all those years ago and though I have been playing for many years, cc creation is a recent venture. So that being said, I'd like to share with you some of my creations.
So over Easter I’ve been working on TS2 to TS4 conversions of some of my favorite clothes, for personal use. I was quite pleased with the outcome. This is my conversion of the Arthelope Winter Charm Coat for The Sims 2.
Not sharing as I dont have permission, and no credit is taken for the mesh or for the texture; that goes to Coccamama and Arthelope for the original. Original mesh and texture from:
TS3 to TS4 Conversion, right from the middle ages.
I created this mesh conversion a long while ago now with the intention of sharing; however, it seems that real life got in the way so this little medieval number was forgotten about and never uploaded.
Fair Maiden, at present, only comes with the original texture, but is fully compatible with the more curvaceous of our sim ladies.
Fair Maiden will be available on my website www.scoobysnax.co.uk - which at present is down for some much needed maintenance.
However, in the mean time you can download from this link.
If you like this mesh conversion and wish to recolour or retexture, please feel free to do so. This is an offical TS3 Maxis mesh, however, don’t forget to show some love - a little mention for the mesh conversion would be most appreciated.
Just thought I’d share what I am currently working on. For all those Sims that like the medieval look….What can be lovelier than a Fair Maiden.
This will be a TS3 to TS4 Conversion of EA Mesh Fair Maiden, part of the Tudor set, sims 3 store. It’s a work in progress at the moment, but is going really well. Once I have perfected and made a decent enough texture I’ll share for download.
This is a TS3 to TS4 conversion of the Marvelous Mirror. Previously only available as a premium content item from the Sims 3 store. I missed this big ol’ mirror being in the homes of my snooty pants Sims, that I decided to give a new home in the Sims 4.
Available in 4 colours - Gold, Steel, White and Teal.
I wanted a cloak for my elven & faerie Sims and I couldn’t find one for love nor money. So I set to work on this TS2 cloak conversion of a Cynnix mesh and right now, it’s proving a real pain in the harris.
I decided I wanted a cloak that would also work with a hood, so I added my own little touch of the attachable hood. BUT it gives my Sims a funny looking moustache!! - Back to the drawing board me thinks!!! Maybe if it works out OK I will ask for permission to share.
Sims all over have pronounced this the most peaceful bed ever. Smooth lines and oriental style meld to create a kind of harmony not easy to find in simpler furniture. A good night’s sleep should be an escape and recovery period from the daily pressures Sims face and the Zenu allows for just that kind of night time experience.
Available in 2 original wood textures, with recoloured bedding. Included in the download are the wall files shown in the pictures.
Finally, I have gotten around to zipping up this skin and uploading it to scoobysnax.co.uk for download.
Arin’s skin is light blue, with embossed scroll work effect. Its a non default skintone and appears in the CAS Skin section for Sims 4.
It’s fully customisable with makeup, however, because of the skintone colour some make-up colours may not compliment as well others. Eyes are not included in the zip file. Download here.
Your guests won’t know their bottoms from their tops once they’ve had a sit on a Studio Bakonmi Deluxe Chair. With its overstuffed rests and smooth-flop cushions, guests will find themselves wondering whether it’s a chair, a sculpture, or possibly a hovercraft. It’s a great conversation piece as well.
I loved this Sims 2 furniture set to death so I thought why not love it all over again, but in The Sims 4.
I have now created the Loveseat and the Lounger, (Bob Newbie approves).
